Anderson vs. Celebrezze case files, 1980-1983.

Contains files on a suit filed against Ohio Attorney General Anthony Celebrezze by independent Presidential candidate John Anderson in 1980. The suit charged that Ohio's March filing date violated the first and fourteenth amendments to the United States Constitution and discriminated against third party candidates. Anderson was permitted on Ohio's ballot in the general election, but the case was not resolved until 1983. Includes correspondence, transcripts of testimony, records of suits filed by Anderson in other states, records of similar cases, newspaper clippings, and reference material.
